in 1979. Her Majesty decided it was time to allow the press and TV into the inner workings of the Monarchy. This might have been because they were running out of money, and because many in the Labour party wanted the Monarchy abolished.

by 1970 Harold Wilson, the Prime Minister was harbouring a group of left winger who were nigh on socialists. The problem is that the Monarchy had always had an aire of mistique which as TV spread in popularity that veil was being lifted. it was quite a gamble, because to open oneselve up to the camera, and get rid of the mistque before it dissapates, might also open the door to criticism.

As the people began to face pay cuts, The Queen was asking the Government for more money....Something that Prince Philip didnt mind saying, and, as always, the Queens Husband, has been, not at all...erm well, he said he might have to give up playing polo. The British People were not ammused.

Princess Anne, carried many of her Fathers Traits

Edward Heath took over as Prime Minister. He set up Committes to look at "Royal Expenditure" and, obviously those were held in the public realm, but without coorperation from the Royals, no further rise in money would be given.

But naturally, people dont realize that the Queen has to run entire estates manned with a staff of hundreds, douzens of buildings, and some falling into disrepair.

Finally, the Queen was given more money, but it bearly covered comparitvaly the rise of inflation. The Royals spending money have been public eversince.

After an increase to One Million pounds a year, the Miners began to strike on less then 25 pounds a week. Civil upheaviles during the early 1970s saw britian in black outs for up to three days of every week. A first World Country, without power because of miners striking

Protests, not only at the miners, but at the fact the Royals were still getting paid heaps, whilst the public were living in squalour. They followed her at public engagements, they swore at her, etc.

Meanwhile Princess Anne announced she was going to get married to a friend she would go horse riding with. Her Husband to be was a bit of a dunce. Queen Anne was held in high regard in England, perhaps because she just wasnt afraid to say what she felt. So the Monarchy decided that this wedding would help bring people together, and bring support back to the Monarchy.

They even sold Bog roll with the Princess and her Husbands to be faces on  Princess Anne said that was the whole point of it  you know, what you do with bogg roll!

Meanwhile, a Reccesion began as the Stand off between the Government and the Miners continued. Edward Heath decided he wanted to impose Martial Law, to in essence force the Minners back to work, a State of Emergency was declaired, and fixed for the same day as Princess Annes wedding day. No Minners, No Electricity....and the Government made it clear that it would imploy the Army to restore order. The Queen was horrified.

The Wedding did begin to restore some faith in the Royals, even as the Government was on the Brink of declairing Martial Law, which the Queen was fighting hammer and tongue to prevent. Martial Law would replace her as head of state after all.

Ian Ball was watching the wedding on TV. He was a sick man, ill in the head. He had a little bit of a thing on Anne, and whilst he sat watching, IRA men began setting off Car Bombs around the Countries Capital, in what was the first major attack from Ireland on English Soil

Ian Ball was to go one further then planting car bombs though

1974.

The Queen went on tour as Prime Minister Edward Heath took his stand off to the absolute, and the IRA continued to bomb. The Queen called for a General Ellection.

The Ellection was so split, that Edward Heath was consitutionally allowed to remain, since the Country needed a Government. Mr Heath had to bassically proove that he could create a coillition, or he would have to retire and guess who would take over.

Her Majesty The Queen.

Harold Wilson was re-installed, this time as her allied force.

The Queen returned to her tour after changing the Prime Minister

Anne meanwhile was going home from a charity film premier, towards buckingham pallace, when a car forced the Royal Car to stop. Ian Ball jumped out of that car, and started fireing a gun. Ian Ball pointed her gun at princess anne, telling her to get out of the car and come with him.

She told him politely where to go.

So Ian ball shot and killed one of the chaufers and disabled the other.

He asked Princess Anne again to get out of the car and come with him.

She told him a little less politely where to go.

Her official response "Not Bloody Likely"

Princess Anne had absolutely no intention of going anywhere with Ian Ball.

Instead she got out of the otherside of the car and flagged down help from a near by pedestrian. Police arrived and after a brief chase, they caught and arrested Ian Ball.

The Minners won the stand off with Harold Wilson and he caved in paying them a fortune. It was a Brief Repreve. A future Prime Minister was not going to be so kind to them. Her name of course. Margaret Thatcher :ninja:

Was Princess Anne hot?

Edit: Nevermind. I googled and now I see why Ian Ball didn't try harder.

She's very beautiful when she was younger...but she hasnt...aged as well...well actually she looks extremely young again recently...bizzare...I think she might have had work done to...take away the years at some point.

She looks positively elderly in the 1990s...but look at her in the year 2000 at the Golden Jubilee of her mother...and I sware, she's twenty years younger

In some of those photos, she looked OK. In others, she looks like Prince Charles.

Well Prince Charles IS her Brother....I think that she started off a beautiful young woman...but then she got interested in horse riding. SERIOUS horse riding, like she would compete...her face began to look weather beaten, and she didnt do her hair right either. Then she had children...and now she actually IS getting old
