Dulce Et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori

O GOD of Earth and Altar, bow down and hear our cry, our earthly rullers faulter, our peoples drift and die, the walls of gold entomb us, the swords of scorn divide, take not thy thunder from us, but take away our pride.

From all that terror teaches, from lies of tongue and pen, from all the easy speeches, tha comfort wicked men, from sale and profanation, of honour and the sword, from sleep and from damnation, deliver us good Lord

Tie in a living tether, the prince and priest and thrall, bind all our lives together, smite us to save us all, in ire and exultation, aflame with faith and free, lift up a living nation, a single sword for thee.

And so they gave their bodies to the commonwealth and received praise that will never die and a home in the minds of men. Their story lives on without visible symbol woven into the stuff of other mens lives...

The Earth is full of anger, the seas are dark with wrath, the nations in the harness go up against our path, aye yet we loose the Legion, aye yet we draw the blade, Jehovah of the Thunders, Lord GOD of Battles, Aid.

High lust of forward bearing, proud hearts, rebellious pride, deaf ear and soul uncaring, we see thy mercy now, the sinner that foreswore you, the fool who past ye by, our times are known before you, Lord grant us strength to die.

Before the Ending of the Day, creator of the world we pray, that in thy wanted favour thou wouldst be our guard and keeper now, from all ill dreams defend our eyes, from nightly fears and phantasies, tred underfoot our ghostly foe, that no pollution we may know, O father that we ask be done, through Jesus Christ, thine only Son, who with the Holy Ghost and Thee, doth live and reign Eternally.

Let us remember before GOD and commend to his sure Keeping those who have died for their Country in war. Those whom we knew and whose memory we treasure, and all who have died in the service of Mankind

They shall grow not old as we who are left grow old, age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn, at the going down of the sun and in the morning, we shall remember them

Requiem Aeterna Dona Eis Domine, Et Lux Perpetua Luceat Eis.

Greater Love hath no Man, then to lay down his life for a friend

May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the tender mercy and compassion of Our Lord, rest in peace and rise in Glory
