:) here are a few more.

Interview with Brian Foster (HIT Squad/UFC)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQbf8BxdieM

He just lost his UFC debut so I think he was feeling a little bit down, but he got about more cheerful towards the end of the video :)

Interview with Cortez Coleman (HIT Squad)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSV2WTSqJ00

You probably dont know him, but he was profiled on the HIT Squad website and there is links to it in the HIT Squad section of this forum, I've spoken to him online quite a bit :)

Interview with Marc Fiore (HIT Squad Coach)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4EvlPTKSZc

This is one of those little gems  I think he was a bit nervous about what I was going to ask him since we had a chat off air about Matt Pena first

Interview with Robbie Lawler (its rather short coz he really doesnt speak much )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_h3LCQUDpI

Robbie doesnt talk much, I dont think he likes doing interviews and stuff, he claims he's not very sociable, I think he's just a little shy because he's increadibly funny and talks alot around people he knows well and feels comfortable with :)

I have this annoying habit of saying "got ya" all the time...that is VERY annoying after a while

Dave, After reading the thread title I couldn't get the image out of my head of you prancing around the ring like Dusty Rhodes - in polka dot pants!

:unsure-1: well there was this one awkward moment, where I asked Noah Inhofer if I could get a picture of me and him together...and he said it would be much better if we got a video of us two wrestling instead  I said that was probably not the best idea in the world...he was MUCH bigger then me, he's alot more heavy set then he looks and that you cant see in photographs but he was already telegraphing for a shoot  so I stept back to emphasis the point, and he shrugged and told me that perhaps I would perfer to accompany him on his run  I told him that it was a very kind offer, but I dont really do running and I didnt want to slow him down...so then he shrugged again. and aggreed to just do the boring photo instead

 I havent actually uploaded that picture yet, but please check back coz I'll post it in here when I can find it :w00t:

:ninja: the trick with Robbie is to treat him like you would an untamed animal. You quietly observe from afar and take pictures when he's not aware. He doesnt like the attention, but doesnt mind it happening so long as its not in his face. So I got some fantastic shots of him lifting weights when he was concentrating and not aware of the camera, but he would move everytime he saw me raise the camera when he was at the reception desk. Originally he didnt really want to do the interview, he claimed he'd come in for a quick train and had to dash off...but he was there for ages and took his time, so I told him that we'd talk on the hop, that way I wouldnt be taking up his time, and he seemed alright with that. Again he took some encouragement to actually start talking more then in monosylabals. After the interview I would leave him alone and keep coming back every 5 moments or so and just have another short conversation. He just doesnt like to be pressurized. I asked him about the UFC, then I went away and pretended to be interested in the overhead music video...then I'd come back and I asked him about his own website...then I'd go and speak to Todd who was doing personal training, then I'd join in a conversation he was having with someone else...that way I got the contact with him...but he didnt feel like I was crowding him or that he was a special focus, because that would have made him distressed

When it came to signing the autographs He asked why there were arrows on the page :laugh:that was the first time (other then when he first came in and recognised me and accosted me briefly) that HE had started a conversation with me. Trust it to be the embarrisment of having to identify whose signiture was whose using little arrows pointing to the autograph

He told me he wasnt sociable and didnt do small talk...neither is true, but he needs to feel comfortable around someone before those things can happen :)

Mark Fiore, a nice man, unless your in his class, then he's really quite mean. He doesnt tollerate fools in the gym environment lets put it that way, out of all the coaches ive seen so far, he was the most, authoritarian of them all, with an ex-force background I guess its no suprise...but woe betide he who fails to pay his dues during the jellybean workout :ninja: I was nearly sick myself, and I was just watching.

I think he always looks like that actually...but maybe he was feeling a little bad, this was taken like just a week or so after he lost his debut

http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8361/pict0053kr.jpg (http://img401.imageshack.us/i/pict0053kr.jpg/)

He did look kinda mean, but when he chose to smile it transformed him completely, I dont think I pissed him off :unsure-1::laugh: Okay so I asked him about his loss...but..what else was I supposed to talk about  he might just be naturally reflective, a lot of deep thinkers or emotional people have a sometimes naturally depressive or angry expression, when really they are just thinking

He got fight of the night and impressed the UFC brass. I think if you're going to suffer a loss in your UFC debut then that's the way to do it:)
he gained a lot of fans too!

Yes, Marc Fiore was saying that despite the loss the UFC has no concerns over his progress at present. I didnt see the fight because I was on Amtrak, but I heard from others that he did well, and most importantly he handled his loss in the correct manner...all the same, I expect in private he was pretty upset also, he's not used to losing fights, he comes from a place where he's been pretty solidly always at the top, now he's surround by equals and betters and he has to really work hard. But he impressed, and he handled it well, and as Marc Fiore told me, now he's lost, he wont be nervous because he knows what a UFC loss is like now, do you follow? it takes the bite out of being frightened to fail.

Foster claims he knows what his mistakes were, and I watched from afar as he had a long consultation after the early morning pracitse with Marc and Todd. Believe me, they are already working on him ready for his next performance.

He has the right to be a little sad coz he didnt actually win...the laugh of it is, he got paid MORE then he would have if he had won, because of the FOTN Bonus, but even with low pay, you can tell that money is the last thing on these guys minds

Like I say, if you watch the interview he starts off a little sad, but by the time we are talking about why he trains, and about the gym, he's smiling and being more animated.

I can honnestly say ive liked EVERYONE I met. Even Todd Laux  Poor Todd, I was extremely mean to him online at one point in time

 Well, I remember one of the first things I said when Ben got out of his car was that he was extremely tall, I actually had to look UP, unless we were sitting in the car, or sitting in quiznos :ashamed::laugh: Jens was a lot taller then I thought actually, I'd imagined him a little smaller  He was suprised at my size when I stood up also :)

There was this sports game of some sort, could have been American Football, and Robbie Lawler got upset coz someone made a bad call, or something  I dont know, but he wasnt very pleased about it, gave quite an animated rant about it. that attracted the attention of this rather strange guy, who then latched on to Lawler and they talked more about whatever sport it was...I kinda lost interest after that

Wow, I didn't know Ryan Davis was the new boxing coach. He's a really tough fighter.

:) yes he is. :)

They have Ryan Davis who is an active Professional Boxer, they have some local active fireman I believe who comes and teaches the kickboxing, I didnt meet him thought, they have Kyle Watson who does all kinds of tournements from grappling to bjj to MMA, they have Marc Fiore who has been a wrestling coach for the army and for the olympic thingy I think he mentions it in the interview, they of course have Robbie Lawler, and Matt Hughes, they have Todd who is basically day-to-day front of house he also does personal training, sorts out the dorm, and they used to have Matt Pena, of course he was MFS prior to that...so their is no denying two interesting things about this gym...first they are almost all active in their own rights away from the gym...the coaches are the pupils in the other coaches classes...now that was fascinating to see, in the evening Kyle taught his class...but in the morning he was in Marc Fiores jellybeans. The second thing is they all have exceptional skills in their backgrounds.

He's not big into communication with fans if I remember rightly...its a little hard to arrange a visit without having a contact. But if Pena is there, he can act as my contact :ninja::laugh:

It worked with Tim McKinnon at MFS :happydancing:

plus...more then anyone Horn really travels everywhere and competes non-stop...or at least he used to, I imagine he gets extremely busy and probably never stops, so it might be luck of the draw if you catch him in his gym...a bit like Pat Miletich :)
