Oh, I totally want one:w00t:

About three and a half years ago, Bloomingdale's stores outside of California began carrying E.S. Kluft mattresses for as much as $10,000.

The Rancho Cucamonga-based brand sold so well that earlier this month, Bloomingdale's opened two 3,000-square-foot Mattress Gallery shops offering E.S. Kluft mattresses inside its department stores at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and Fashion Island in Newport Beach.

The most expensive bed offered at these local stores? A hand-tailored king mattress called "Beyond Luxury Palais Royale" that regularly retails for $33,275.

That's double the price tag of the most high-end E.S. Kluft style Orange County consumers could buy at Sit 'n Sleep, which was previously the only place local shoppers could purchase this brand.

What do you get for $33,275?

A blend of cashmere, mohair, Joma wool and Talalay latex that conforms to the body to eliminate pressure points while layers of breathable cotton prevent heat and moisture buildup. The beds also feature thousands of premium English springs encased in calico cotton to minimize motion transfer and to provide support. Plus, each mattress is hand side stitched, according to E.S. Kluft. It takes seven people about two and a half days to make this high-end piece.

I can and have slept in a truck bed with a canvas bag full of tools as a pillow . A 33,000 dollar Matress would be a waste.

Its not like you could ever enjoy it , youd be asleep everytime you got to use it.

Oh I'd enjoy it. I'd be up all night saying to myself " I can't believe I'm in a 33 thousand dollar bed...."

It's a bed for people who like to wake up feeling rested and without a sore back. I love it. Also, with the help of my father and his woodshop, I built the bedframe myself. Here's a photo gallery of that.
