That video is pretty scary and not just because these kid's are singing about Obama. I would be equally wary if they were singing this way about George Bush, Abraham Lincoln or even George Washington. Americans don't deify their leaders, that's one of the things that makes us different from all of those oppressive dictatorships out there.

This kind of thing brings up frightening parallels to the youth indoctrination programs from Nazi Germany and, more recently, North Korea.

The reason no one made a Bush song is that his supporters were too busy figuring out ways to bring down the man............runs away laughing while carrying the spoon that stirred the pot.

this reminds me of that scene in the documentary Jesus Camp where little children at church are praying to a life-size cardboard cutout of george W. bush and then singing a song about him in unison. and some of the children were crying while they did it. now THAT was scary.

I remember seeing segments of that documentary, it was pretty disturbing stuff. I'm not sure if the kids were necessarily praying TO President Bush, but the imagery definitely did send the wrong message.

Public School definitely has NO business doing that type of stuff! Our officials should not be deified or worshiped!

Que- That was edited to make it appear that way on film. It was nto like that at all. I know the people who were filmed there in Missouri. This was a liberal documentary setting out to make Christians look bad. They were praying for Bush which we are commanded to do in scripture. We as believers are suppose to pray for our leaders even the ones we do not like.

 THATS FUNNY RIGHT THERE Also Obama who claims to be Christian has only went to church once since in office on Easter. He also is the first president to ignore the National Day of Prayer. Wow Some Christian.

Kids were also allowed to sing songs with Bush's name in it during an Easter celebration.

Where does it say they done this at a School? Was this required? If it was at a School and or required I am most definitely against it!

Buzzard Last I checked a blog is not exactly the most accurate of sources. Even if it were true I think the fact is nne of this needs to be in the schools.

NateR
09-27-2009, 06:07 PM
Even if that blog report is true, then Bush doesn't even get the spotlight to himself or even the courtesy of being mentioned first:

Congress, Bush and FEMA
People across our land
Together have come to rebuild us and we join them hand-in-hand!

Congress gets the first mention and Bush is sandwiched in between them and FEMA. So it's hardly comparable to:

Red and yellow, black and white, all are equal in his site,
mmmmmm, mmmmmmm, mmmmmm Barack Hussein Obama

Especially considering that that line is plagiarized from the song "Jesus Loves the Little Children" which goes like this:

Red and yellow, black and white, all are precious in his site,
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

So, even IF that blog writer is being truthful, it's not even remotely the same thing.

Who can forget this little bit of Hollywood propaganda that they attempted to pass off as a grassroots movement in support of Obama (I believe that is referred to as "astroturf"):

Propaganda. Digusting indeed. But since liberals are evil, what else do you expect?

The Hitler youth were likewise singing songs.

I couldn't even watch the whole thing. My honest opinion is that this is race-based. Can you imagine them praying to Bush or Clinton? We are supposed to have this dialogue so I'm asking people, is this racist?

The left doesn't really want to have that conversation.

I'm asking, why didn't Van Jones comment when the Chicago gang bangers killed a black student who was trying to help people? He had plenty to say about the "boys" behind the Columbine massacre. Or is one life not enough to be concerned about?

Even leaving that aspect out of this glorifying of Obama, where is the separation of church and state? Remember how people went nuts when GWB said that he prayed for guidance? I have not even SEEN this video from the MS media.

It's bad enough I can't get that icky mmm mmm mmm song out of my head. What a double standard. I'm glad people are waking up to this.

Sorry for the rambling rant, this stuff really steams me up. :punch:

More Obama cult-worship. What really angers me if that they are defiling the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. by including him in this tripe, as if he would actually endorse someone like Obama:

I had to watch this for a palate cleanser.

What, no one has commented about there being no such thing in the constitution about separation of church and state? I guess it's only pointed out when the liberals use that phrase when they wish to keep religion out of government and schools.

Back to the topic of the Obama videos, I was watching some of these again and I think I now know, in some small way, how the sane Germans felt when their entire country was being taken over by Nazism in the 1930s. We seem to be heading down that road very quickly.
