I don't get it? The issues of Obama's spending have not hit yet.. Economy seems on the upswing for now.. Kind of poor timing for the sticker to come out they should have waited a year or so.

Just a sad attempt at blaming Obama for the bad economy that practically every country if going through ... and really, is it that bad if people are spending their stimulus cheques on lame bumper stickers? or maybe mccain will get 20 for 25 bones for all the cars he owns .. i am sure he isn't feeling the pinch in this tough economy ...

obama hasn't even been in office for a year yet.. the economy is where it's at now because it has been slowly building up to this for decades. just some more idiots trying to blame everything on obama and cash in on making some dumb bumper stickers. if you want to blame anyone, blame bush who didn't help out the economy for 8 straight years and only made it worse.

So, it was a wise move to spend another $800 billion dollars into failing companies, take over those businesses as government-run operations, and close multi-generation businesses in the process? This is nothing more than what the Nazi party did prior to WWII. The Democratic party is effectively starting the U.S. toward Socialist policies.

In 2008, the debt held by the public as a percentage of GDP was 40.8%. Currently, that amount is 53.8%. The Congressional Budget Office has predicted by 2010, for that amount to be 61.4% and by 2019, for that amount to be 67.8%. This means, we're f'ing broke!

Stick the finger at Bush all you want, but Obama effectively DOUBLED the deficit within his first 2 months in office.

i don't agree with some of the policies, but we'll see how they play out, remember that fdr guy came in and spent a lot of money, it worked out...i'm not an obama fan, but enough with the stupidity of blaming him for everything going on because this mess was here before he even was on the ballot

So how are his policies NOT like Socialist/Communist party policies? Perhaps you need to watch this video and tell me that marine is wrong: http://www.matt-hughes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2683

The point I'm trying to make is that you can't just blame the finger at Bush or just blame it at Obama, just giving another citing example how the government has been continuing to f' things up.

Businesses that are doing bad business should be allowed to fail regardless of size as they will be replaced by better businesses. McDonald's, Wal-Mart, UFC, etc. are still growing even during these hard times. Instead of bitching and moaning about needing a bailout, they could simply become innovators like McD's, Wal-Mart, UFC, etc.

I wouldn't even bother. He wasn't even in office a week and they were already blaming him for the the last 4 years and the next four years.

remember that fdr guy came in and spent a lot of money, it worked out...

That only depends on which version of history you read. Even though he did spend all of that money (which is a microscopic fraction compared to what Obama has spent), it still took a world war to get us out of the Great Depression.

That was also creating new jobs and everybody pitched in to help the war effort, rather than this one which is an attempt to save failing companies. And, unemployment is still rising, unlike the money spent during WWII.

i agree with everything you said except that we are now headed towards communism, i think that is just getting blown out of proportion....all i was trying to say is that the blame through this should not go solely to obama...I don't love what he's done, but he inherited a helluva mess and I don't see anyone here hating on bush like this even though he is equally to blame...I know y'all are biased, but face reality a little bit

i agree with you guys on the fact that i think throwing all that money around is questionable...but the point i was trying to make is that we just need to wait and see, a severely damaged economy is not going to fix itself overnight or even in a year...this takes time and we won't know if he was right or not until we see how it plays out

I was mad at Bush for bailing out the Bank's and Obama makes me miss Bush! This is coming from a guy who also sent Bush an Email telling him that he's supposed to work for the American people not Mexico!
