BloodyElbow.com (http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2009/2/4/749156/pro-elite-nearly-sold) has the story

The most likely buyer is Strikeforce. The other leading contender was King of The Cage, but industry sources have suggested that Pro Elite fighters are much more willing to fight for Strikeforce than KoTC, and the ease of signing new contracts may have played a part in finalizing this deal.

The buyer would likely return to CBS television with live events this year.

Now the fighters can move on with their lives and we get to see some more action!

Hope a decent legit company buys them and put on tv shows! If its on CBS or Fox Sports or any other channel I get it would be better than having just one org!

I really think Dana wants to pick up Robbie. I have faith that we'll eventually see Robbie fight Anderson!

According to Michael Rome (http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2009/2/5/750933/fighter-contracts-and-the) it appears they did not pick up Robbie

I can confirm that Robbie Lawler is actually negotiating with Strikeforce, which means he is not a part of the group that chose to waive its rights.
