Pac Man, 2nd round KO ... Cotto lost that fight to Clottey

I'd of rather than Pac fought Mosley for his belt, but that's ok. Cotto's only lost once and I feel he lost to Clottey even though the judges didn't feel that way.

Should be a very exciting fight, but I see Pac pummeling Cotto for 9 rounds before getting the KO/TKO.

This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO f'ed up!

Bob Arum says that Cotto's belt will not be up for grabs. The price is a measley $150,000 for Pacquiao to make history! Cotto has earned the right to defend his belt, Pac has earned the right to fight for his 7th belt, and the fans have earned their right to watch (possible) history in the making!

Arum, that cocky SOB even said that "Nobody in the US cares about the title." ***HOLE!!!

There's a telephone number, fax number, e-mail, and online form to fill out (the online form didn't work for me so I e-mailed them).

Whether you're Filipino, Puerto Rican, American, Mexican, British, etc., this is boxing history in the making and he has NO RIGHT to rob PAC, COTTO, or THE FANS, of this historical opportunity! Contact Top Rank and tell them the belt should be on the line!

Here's the e-mail I sent to contact@toprank.com

Mr. Arum,

As a white American male, I'm hereby requesting you sanction Cotto's belt for Pacquiao.

Remember, Pac, Cotto, and the fans are the ones who've given you the lifestyle you enjoy.

Pac has earned his shot to fight for the ultimate legacy of a 7th belt.
Cotto has earned the right to defend his belt against the current P4P champion.
Us fans have earned our rights to watch boxing history in the making. Don't rob Pac, Cotto, and the fans of this opportunity!

Sincerely,

What does being white have to do with Pac fighting for Cotto's title?

I wanted to point out the fact that I'm not Filipino or Puerto Rican, but a fan of boxing. Just because he wants to suck on DLH's **** doesn't mean he should disallow Pac the opportunity at boxing immortality. DLH has won a title in 6 different weight classes and so has Pac. Bob Arum is deliberately robbing Pac the opportunity to go for his 7th title in a different weight class.

Power to the people! Bob Arum changes it to a title fight after the people spoke, then Pac spoke!

Now, we're just waiting to see what Cotto has to say. No way he's going to back out or he'll look like a coward. :happydancing:

That's complete bull**** and exactly the type of stuff that is wrong in boxing.

A title fight should and can only be fought AT THE TITLES WEIGHT otherwise it means nothing.

If Cotto says no it's not because he is scared I saw an interview of his where he said if pac fights at the belts weight he will put it on the line but not at a catch weight.

I support Cotto 100% in this if he chooses to tell the commision and everyone to go **** themselves.

Well, the fight's for the belt. This is not the first time a belt has been put on the line at a catchweight. The fact of the matter is that 141 to 147 is the welterweight class, just because it isn't fought at 147 doesn't mean it cannot be sanctioned, and in this case, IMO, shouldn't be sanctioned. If it isn't for the belt, what's the point? I know, it's because these are 2 warriors that should be fighting, but I'm not interested in hearing that.

Cotto's worried about 2 pounds...in his last fight against Clottey, he weighed 146 when he only needed to weigh 147. He will be 100% fighting at 145. Fight's so popular, you can't even get a room at MGM on that weekend and the tickets go on sale tomorrow!

On another note, a person can still buy ringside at Mayweather/Marquez and it's only 1 month away. :tongue0011:
