I'd say just about anybody who fought in UFC 1-UFC 10 should just hang up the gloves. Anyone who fought in UFC 11-20 is pretty much in the twilight of their career & should probably only be fighting people their own age. Anyone who's fought in UFC 20-30 is either in the prime (a la Hughes) or is starting to realize they're getting passed by.

As much as I respect Ken Shamrock for his being a Pioneer of MMA in America I think he should stick with training other younger fighters! Maybe he can help his Son become a Champion someday. Although I do wish he could have went out with a good clean win. At his age and as many fights as Ken's been in I don't see how anybody can stay at the top in MMA. However I think his experience could be valuable as a coach or trainer!

I say that about right with very few exeptionsI almost feel like the UFC should institute a Senior's tour like the PGA. That way Shamrock & Frye & Coleman & (soon if not now) Couture & Tank could all keep scrapping away for a new title against their peers!

Amir should just hang it up.Seriosuly, if you get injured 18,000 times between your pro debut 7 your second match, maybe fighting isn't the sport for you!!

Amir had a lot of Muay Thai matches (nationals, etc) so like Indiana Jones once said "it's not the years, it's the mileage"

:laugh:Amen to that! I got to see see him fight in a MT match a coupla years ago (not long after TUF 5). Boomer & some of his buddies came down to watch some local fights here & Amir was one of 'em. Had no clue who he was at the time, but I do remember that his was an entertaining match.

How funny. I said it after your post, but I didn't even read your post. When I said Cro Cop, it honestly was serious and not in response to your post. However, if Cro Cop is going to continue eye poking, he can stay.

other than danzig i would agree with this. the problem is that they fed him to the wolves right away. they usually build their tuf stars up gradually. the lost to josh neer surprised the crap outta me though

I guess I didn't take Danzig's opponents into consideration. He did come right out of the gate with tough fights.....I just remember him losing all the time that's why I put him on my list. I guess he deserves more time and some more fights before he hangs 'em up.
