So hows everyone's team doing so far?

My Yankees are finally in first place for the first time since the end of 2006. The starting pitching has finally gotten its act together, the bullpen is getting better (though Veras needs to be banished to baseball oblivion never to return in a Yankee uniform) and it seems everyone is hitting well.

The thing I'm happy with too is that the Yankees are calling up guys from the Farm and they're succeeding. I wish they would've learned this sooner instead of spending like Barack Obama at an Entitlements Convention.

I can't stand A-Rod as a human being, but he really does make the Yankees a better team. I can't stand him, but I think that Selena Roberts woman definitely had an axe to grind against him. Its hard to defend A-Rod, but I think when he was taking steroids it was not only known, but encouraged and was apart of MLB culture in general. Good to see all the mass hysteria and attention hasn't effected his game.

Okay, I'll bite....but only because the Cubs are playing crappy too, otherwise Derek would be in here ripping on us White Sox fans.

The White Sox have looked pretty crappy thus far, although they have started to turn things around in the last couple weeks. Colon, Floyd, and Contreras have all looked like crap. They already sent Jose Contreras down to the minors, which was overdue. Jim Thome and Carlos Quentin have been batting poorly, and Quentin has been hurt, so that sucks. Alexi Ramirez has also been batting terribly, but he tends to be a slow starter.

It's not ALL bad though, even with as crappy as we have been playing, we have won 7 of our last 10 games and we are only 4 games out of first as of today, so there is still time to turn things around. The offense has really looked better the last two weeks, but I wanna see more.

Cardinals are my team, and they as of right now are tied for first in their division. They need some offensive help for sure to protect Pujols more, and pitching is okay. I think if Carpenter stays healthy they will be comptitive most of the year.

Never really liked Baseball until i watched it live for the first time and really enjoyed everything about it.

So my team now are the Texas Rangers and think they are doing well!

OK, so this is the point in the discussion where everyone begins to mock my team (just like in the NFL talks when I say I'm a Raiders fan):

Sigh. I think my screen name makes it unnecessary to comment. After having my hopes dashed last October that was it. Something snapped.
I cancelled the Extra Innings baseball package I was so pissed. I feel better now. I realized that without the monthly fee I could afford MMA ppvs.

The way the season has gone being unable to watch most games doesn't matter.

Gosh I miss the old days when the Cubs were so bad no one cared about the record and one could just enjoy baseball. But 2003 changed everything.

What a downer. I shouldn't have posted. Sorry but I had to vent.

I even named my daughter Alexandra and her nickname on the field is AROD..What a tragedy he is an idiot and cheater!! .....

Well been to a few Rangers games now and also caught the Cubs at the Rockies.

Rangers are second in the division but have a few games against the Angels and one behind the Red Sox in the wild card.

My hope is that the Red Sox get smashed by the Yankee's again and again and with Cruz back, the legend Pudge Rodriguez, Bourbon, Elvis, Marlon Byrd and Hamilton and Young i really hope they can make the World Series!!!!!!

The Cardinals look awesome and Pujols blows me away!
