Yahoo reported that Cook came to the ring in a Luch Libre mask, and Lashley did not take very kindly to that, hence no touching of the gloves. I don't care who you are, it's not too smart to go out of your way to upset a guy like Bobby Lashley.

why was the luchador mask upsetting.....

and that means lashley should fight pretty quick again, he should be pretty ready to fight and it shouldn't take him long to recover from a 24 second chokeout win

Because he did it to make of fun of Lashley for being in WWE.

I agree 110%.

Good for him. Haven't watched the clip, but it's good to hear about it being a win by chokeout. It shows that he's not really trying to bully his opponents and he's learning the submission aspect of mma.

Good stuff.

Later.

Watched the fight on HDnet last night and yeah it was fast, and yeah Lashley was pissed. In his comments after the fight the announcer asked him about the mask and he basically said he was here to fight and be a professional and take care of business and that now that the fight was over Cook could put the mask back on and go play with himself.

As far as the choke, Bas was joking that Cook looked like a sizzling piece of bacon flopping around. And I'll tell you one thing it was good that Big John is back as a ref because Cook could have really been hurt if John hadn't called the fight, as it kind looked like he was still with it but he was actually out cold.

Lashley also said that his next fight is against Bob Sapp, I think as early as next month. He said he wants to fight 6 times this year.

I see potential that shouldn't be wasted on TUFF! Let him fight a few more times in the minors to gain experience and training. Then if he progresses like I think he will the UFC may give him a call!

good for him. I just wish he'd quit with the Pro Wrestling alltogether.

TUFF is a joke and he would be wasting his time. I bet in a few more fights like that Dana will be offering him way more then any Tuff salary. Besides he can't do any worse then a few other Hw's

it doesnt do to have an MMA guy have a second mini career in Pro Wrestling at the same time. Its best to keep the two things completely separate...but I guess he must need to money...I dont know.

why dont you "call" and ask him Andreas
