Is really growing on me.

She dissed Obama about releasing these new prisoner abuse photo's..

She said something about meeting with the families of some 9/11 victums and they asked her why Obama seems to be really siding with the terrorists. I lol'd.

I like her. I wonder if she has any political intentions.

Because mistreatment of POW's can be the basis for war crimes under the geneva convention ... i am sure he doen't want to be charged with war crimes as anyone else ... she should be quiet, he dad couldn't get the job done, so of course she is gonna rag on the dude that took his potential job ...

The United States never ratified Protocol 1 of the Geneva Convention, for the very reason that it protects anybody under the sun regardless of their affiliation or if they are following the rules of war. The enemy we are fighting does not fit the standard definition of a POW, and gee let me think...are those bastards giving us the same courtesy we are expected to give to them? NO. If you get caught by one of them, you are getting your head cut off.

Obama released the photos to appease the liberal whack-jobs, not out of fear of being charged with war crimes. The only reason her dad could not get the job done is because we allow the most uneducated people in the nation the right to vote, while at the same time most everyday people could care less about politics. If people actually gave a crap and we had more than just 30% of the country getting out and voting Obama would not have had a cakewalk to the White-House.

Getting 96% of the black vote doesn't hurt you either.

I don't care what happens to those terrorist pieces of donkey crap.

My people, My country men are being decapitated on live video for them to fulfill their sick and twisted God's will. *spit* Mohammed is burning in hell with the rest of them. Rarely has one MAN been guilty of such a slight against God.

And Obama is kowtowing down to all these douche bags that would see us appease this mongrols?

F that bro.

Go buy your Obama T-shirt while you can still get it in English. They will all be written in Arabic soon enough.

why is the issue of who is allowed to vote only coming up with this past election? lol .. it was never an issue that I heard of before ... so are you saying, in every other election before this, the best man got the job and in this past election, it was the first time the most popular person won? ... there was a report that came out, that said most of the people who supported mccain stayed at home and didn't vote because they didn't think there was a shot at him winning, even though the actual numbers were some what close (don't know if I would call it a cake-walk) .. so let me ask you ... who are the DUMMIES? ... the uneducated people who went out and voted for the media darling BHO, or the educated people who stayed at home and didn't vote cuz it looked like their man was out of it ... LOL

i agree with you that the enemies don't meet the definition of soldiers, so i will give you that .. they shouldn't be treated like soldiers ...

The reason it's an issue is because of the gross incompetence being displayed by the common supporters. It's on a level that is uncanny, and it's driven by a war between media giants, NOT a true understanding of the issues. It's also largely driven by race as Crisco alluded to.

Whoever said that MOST McCain supporters stayed home, was full of crap. I am sure SOME people did stay home, but not most. Please provide a source with some hard evidence of this otherwise I would say that is completely false.

Most people just DONT vote period. That is the problem. Anytime a presidential candidate looks cool to the young voters, they stand a better shot at winning, because young voters are the most easily swayed. The thing is, most young people think with their ass and not with their head. Until they get older that is, then they realize that things actually cost money in this world, and you actually have to work to get them.

He decided not to release some photos, but there are others that have already been released/leaked in the past. Obama did the right thing here, these photos should be leaked out to the world.

Sad that you and others in here wish to lower us to the standards of lowly terrorists. The only whack-jobs that I see aren't the liberals, but the ones that wish to bring our country down to a level lower than pond scum.

Do you think the detainees fall under the scope of Article II?

Here is another link showing the outcome of some water-boarding or water-cure cases. It was torture then, just like it is now.

You are a fool.

I never mentioned anything about water-boarding, or anything else other than the fact that our nation should not recognize these combatants in the same way we recognize other nations armed forces.

Do the detainees fit under Common Article II? Technically no, they don't. Because they are not representative of any group from the high contracting parties, and they have not followed the convention. Therefore, we are not bound by the convention when dealing with them. It's the very reason the United States never ratified Protocol I.

Well just because they dont treat their war criminals well, doesnt mean that we should stoop to their level.

Mindue, I happen to support the use of torture, and my ideals of how to treat the criminals (even citizens) are probably a lot harsher then what the United States, on average, meats out.

They really would only get the basics, your talking food and water...you are not talking, cozy bed within centrally heated cell, sunday lunch, Ipods, video games and computers...I dont care if they are juvinile or not. You dont waste money on people who cant uphold the law.
