I hope everyone made or is gonna make an effort to check this movie out. I did'nt think I was gonna enjoy this movie as I was burnt out by all the constant trailers 24/7. This turned out to be a very enjoyable movie which probably came from not knowing too much about it or who was in it..
It was pretty much non-stop action from start to finish with very few lulls in it. It did the original Star Trek movies justice imo and made a nich for itself in its own way.
I was surprised to know Eric Bana/Karl Urban were in this movie as I had no idea of anyone attached to this movie. Simon Pegg made an okay Scotty,though it was a semi-small role. Eric Bana did a good job as Nero with what amount of screen time given. I was a little skeptical of Karl Urban as Bones,he seemed a little out of his element in it. Zoe was absolutly hot as Aura was just something about her. Pine did great as young Kirk as well as Zach as a young Spock. The actors who played Sulu/Checkov(sp) I personally did'nt care for,but were tolerable.
So,far I think Star Trek is this years The Dark Knight as it was very well done. :happydancing:

I haven't watched since the New Generation, well, I watched a few eps of Deep Space 9, but wasn't impressed. The movie looks really good, but I'll wait to rent the DVD.

I thought the green broad was pretty hot.


On a side note saw the movie yesterday and I thought it was really good. I'm interested to see if they will make a second one.

jkjk, My brother and I are going to see this on Friday night. There is a really nice AMC 15 near my parents house. I need to watch the doggy anyway. :cool:

Wow I can't WAIT until Friday.

AWESOME!! I had a great time watching this film! saw it tonight at the IMAX and was really impressed with all the actors and the story and everything. Go see it!!!

I saw 300 the first day it came out in the IMAX
