I went to the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe AZ, but again what does have to do with this thread?

If I may ask, what is this thread supposed to suggest? That Conservatives do not care about the men and women who have died serving our country? Or is it just a lame attempt at taking a shot at people who did not support Obama?

How does putting the country in trillions of dollars of debt FIX anything???

And not I'm not a Clinton, Obama, OR Bush fan. I voted for Ron Paul.

Well, simply put, it's not really about "fixing" anything, it's about moving forward with a political agenda that was already drawn out LONG before the election ever happened.

A side note on Ron Paul, while I think that the guy has some good ideas, and I think he means well, he really is a bit out of touch with reality. He wants to cut out money completely in areas where it's just not fundamentally sound and his ideas on foreign policy might work on another planet, but not on this one.

27 is almost 30 and the allusion to your age was a remark on the maturity of your comment... and that when you and NateR (and whoever responded with that "Your Mom" comment) have no come back or rational argument you immediately resort to (horrifically sophomoric) insults.... unless that wasn't an insult and you were rewarding my post for being an exultant and/or jubilant one...

I went to the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe AZ, but again what does have to do with this thread?
Maybe I was just curious. I am always fascinated by and interested in the criteria and level of merit required for persons to call themselves engineers.

If I may ask, what is this thread supposed to suggest? That Conservatives do not care about the men and women who have died serving our country? Or is it just a lame attempt at taking a shot at people who did not support Obama?

I understand that it may have been a lot to read, so I'll remove the distracting pictures and repeat the point:

Amazed isn't the world I would use.

And those 5,000 died for what reason....
No WMD
No ties to Al Qaeda
Terrorism only existed in Iraq after we went in there
The world hates and distrusts us
Bin Laden still alive
etc

No the world hates us because we think we're the world police and we know whats best for everyone, and we exploit those who are weaker, poorer or depend on us.

Ironically, another reason the world hates us is because we think the world hates us because we are white, Christian and rich.

How do you think Islam was spread? By the fing sword drenched in the blood of all those who didn't want to believe in their false faith.

They are just pissed that they can't beat us and have to do what we say. The world has always been that way and it always will. If they had the ability too they would be ruling the world a lot worse then we would.

In the history of the world the most powerful country ALWAYS had a hand in the affairs of other nations.

27 is NOT almost 30. When Lebron James scores 27 points in a basketball game, do they say 27 or almost 30? Sure, 27 is closer to 30 than 26 is, but who cares? The thread is still gay.
Now quit making me feel old. I got enough problems.

I got your remark, and if you find my response to be "immature", then I do apologize but I could really care less. Seeing as how you came on here and posted a thread that has NO rational argument in it to begin with, the response was not only merited, but 100% factual.

In short... this thread = gay, lame, stupid, mindless, etc... However you want to take it, this thread serves no other purpose but for you to try and make some ridiculous point you magically came to on your own, which in itself is nothing more than a sweeping generalization and has ZERO substance.

Your argument is "money is the most important issue to neocons". Please enlighten us as to the flawless logic you are using to come to this conclusion. Rather than reciting a laundry list of bulls**t talking points about the Iraq war, all of which have been argued on here until we were all blue in the face... Why not explain to all of us here on the forum how it is that YOU have come to a conclusion that money is more important to "neocons" than the lives of our American soldiers?

This is a pretty typical move of people who have a certain ideological mindset locked in their brains. You try and cut and paste ideas together in your head in order to attack those that you disagree with, even if the two topics are COMPLETELY UNRELATED. Do yourself a favor, stop drinking the kool-aid, it's been spiked with drugs by the media to get you to keep watching.

Cris, I used to feel the same way about this guy. I was angry about him coming around seemingly trying to make us doubt our beliefs, essentially poking holes in our faith. However, I have realized that he hasn't done that with one single person. It appears that he has only caused us to reinforce our beliefs and have us hold to them that much stronger.

I also started to wonder about the why of him coming here. I recognized him the other day. He has been coming here off and on for years. Anyway, as I was pondering over this a possibility occurred to me. He tries to appear so confidient and steady in his belief (or disbelief, if you prefer) yet he still keeps coming back here. Apparently something is compelling him to do so. He is still searching, still seeking, never content. Maybe he isn't so smug after all.

Here are a couple passages that you may have missed too.

Ephesians 4:29 (New International Version)

29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Luke 6:45 (King James Version)

45A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Nicely put.

Lots of wisdom to be found in that post and maybe something he didn't even realize about himself.

I learn a lot about myself everytime someone pushes my buttons and I realize I have a very macho personality and my first instinct when someone makes me angry is this feeling that I need to challenge them. To put myself in there and say F you buddy I'll put the stamp on you.

I'm still working and learning on the right way to handle things like that. I grew up in a neighborhood that was a lot like jail. If someone disrespected you or took something from you had to get it back as fast a possible.

Even though I get older I get stuck with a lot of the habbits I had as a youngster including my temper haha.

I project my negative opinions on you because you represent the opposite of what I hold to be true. I being a fallen human being sometimes have difficulty communicating my feelings in the proper manner all the time.

I do not care for your opinions Buzzard and your stance on life and God make me fear for your soul and that of any children you might bring into the world because they wouldn't receive a guiding hand toward God. I know this all sounds silly to you.

Often my fear translates to anger and frustration because you are simply one of those people that in unreachable at this point in time and I fear I'll do even worse by you by pushing to hard and miscommunicating scaring you away for ever.

I said we are crap because in the eyes of God we are not good enough. We fall short everytime because of our very nature and origins.

I am certainly not happy that over 4K american soldiers are dead,

They did not forget it's war, they just don't agree with the cause and don't see the bigger picture. I would have agreed with liberating Iraq from an evil dictator like Saddam even if 9/11 would have never happened. We should have finished the job the first time.

The world hates us but they also admire us to some degree, now I think a good portion of the world gave us some respect back with Obama election. How long that will last remains to be seen as its way too early to define his administration long term outcome. My opinion is we need to really work with Canada/Mexico to make this part of the world to flourish more. I mean Mexico needs some help, I guess we could invade them and rebuild them like we do with everyone else:Whistle:

I don't wanna go back into debating was it right/wrong going to war. Any loss of life is too much and tragic. I don't agree with the war in Iraq, but thought the war in Afghanastan is justified more so.
