you can't if you are on a broadband or dsl line. dial up used to give you a different ip everytime you signed on, but usually ips are static now.

A different internet source--like a cell phone hotspot or wireless wifi from a neighbor would give a different ip, or you can use your same internet and go through a proxy server. just google proxy server and the second and third results most likely will be sites that will let you hide your ip.

nate might know more about it, as far as how they screen ips though

Thank for the advice. I'll try it when I get home from work this evening and let you ( not Ben) know :)

Sorry, this just reminds me of a certain sting operation that may or may not have occurred around the time of UFC 98...

Not to let sleeping dogs lie...or whatever that expression is  say I take my laptop with me when I travel. Say I create a new account on the website that banned me.Will they know it's me and not let me? I'm guessing they won't know BUT, when I get home will it go back to my old banned IP?

Michelle... Were you flashing your boob pics online again? As much as some of us like it, some sites just frown on that sort of thing.
