Sheid Diesel

Sorry about the late blog, I’ve been pretty busy this week, I’m actually on the road right now calling in my blog. Last weekend, I went to Terre Haute, IN with Sheid Deisel to a huge diesel extravaganza. There were truck pulls, tractor pulls, a diesel truck drag strip, plenty of dyno tests to dyno anybody’s truck, and we also took my ‘66, the one with the Duramax in it, over there as well. All in all a great time, I just wish I didn’t have to leave so early: ![]() ![]() ![]() I also bought some deer blinds and I think they are some of the best on the market. The way I see it, they should last forever. They go anywhere from 8-10 feet in the air and they are bow and gun blinds. When you are hunting with a ten year old boy (Joey), who doesn’t like to be out in the weather; then something like this will be ideal for the tough winter we might have ahead. This particular model is 6 feet by 6 feet. If anyone is interested, you can check out their website BoulderBuilders.net. Last week I went out to Vegas and I signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC, which is much like my last contract. I also brought up the fact that I wanted to do a hunting show and they thought that would be a good thing. They still have to find out who, where and when my next fight will be and I will try to post that info ASAP. Nothing is decided yet, so anything you might be reading on the internet right now is just rumors and speculation. However, one name the UFC did bring up is a person I’ve never fought before. Finally here is the bible verse for this week:

I remember on TUF a few years back you mentioned that you only had a few more fights left in you. I’m glad that isn’t true because I, as well as many others, felt you had a lot more left. It looks like you’ve regained your motivation and determination and of course we’ll all support you. I’ve still got the belief you can beat GSP and have another title run, although I guess that would still be a little bit in the future.

I know you had mentioned anything on the internet is just speculation. However, I speak for many when I say another Matt Serra fight would be great. The last fight was great, but another one with a victory by TKO or submission would be good. Maybe that would finally shut him up.

Great to hear about the contract, Matt! Theresa amd I hope you’ll be coming back out to train.
I had my knee done again yesterday so I’m looking to a Dec. or Jan. fight. Will you corner me with Jeremy (joking!)?

Matt, I don’t remember you saying you were going to Indiana, That was about an hour from where I’m at, I can’t believe you were that close and I missed the chance to meet you, I’m ticked!!!!!!!!!!! Those hunting blinds look awesome, they would probably last a very long time. I can’t wait to see you back in the ring, I’m thinking they will look at Jon Fitch or some other top contender but I don’t care just want you in the octagon. Thanks for the verse again as always. One huge favor, next time in Indiana make sure we know you are coming, I still can’t believe I missed that I’m on this site everday. God Bless!
