Europa Show
April 20th, 2009
|
Last weekend I went down to Orlando, FL, with Dollamur Mats. Matt Lindland and I put on a few seminars and we also had a great time down there. The Europa show was pretty interesting to me because it has so many things going on. They had a bunch of cars on display, bodybuilding & fitness competitions, NAGA had a grappling tournament, and then several people put on seminars as well. Along with Matt Lindland and I, Don “The Dragon” Wilson and Bill “Superfoot” Wallace were there also. Dollamur Mats had a booth, as well as Nutritox, Cytosport and a lot of other people. One of those events I just could have walked around all day at. Saturday, I flew straight home and drove to Marc Fiore’s house to watch the UFC. I got there five minutes after Chuck’s fight, the only fight I wanted to see. My flight was delayed 45 minutes out of Orlando and I got to Fiore’s late and didn’t get to watch Chuck’s fight. I was not very happy. Still haven’t seen it, but of course I heard about it and along with Chuck, I just don’t know what to say. I think there are so many people out there that would pay to watch Chuck fight again, including me. If Chuck still has a desire to compete in the UFC, I hope they give it to him. I was really surprised to hear Dana say that if Chuck didn’t have a good performance he might not be back in the UFC. It’s obviously out of my hands right now, but when I hear something I’ll let you know. So the last fight of the night was the Anderson Silva fight. I thought since I was there at Fiore’s I would go ahead and watch it. Audra was there also and she wanted to see it too. Don’t have much to say about the fight. Thales obviously wanted to fight on the ground and even took Anderson down, but couldn’t keep him there. I really disliked it when Thales would just fall to his butt and expect Anderson to jump on top of him; but even more disappointing was Anderson’s lack of aggressiveness. He never seemed like he wanted to finish the fight. Halfway through the third round, I looked at Audra and we just decided to go home. It’s not the first time that Anderson has done this to me. When he fought Cote, it was about the same thing. Next time we have a party and Anderson is on the card… well, I’ll just say that at least I can expect to take a bathroom break or to go grab a refreshment when it comes time for him to fight. I heard Dana’s comments after the fight and how he was embarrassed. I don’t think Dana should be embarrassed all he can do is put the fighters in the octagon and once again I was a little surprised to hear Dana say this; but Dana White is a man who speaks what’s on his mind. Had a good week of training, last week. I feel like I could do three rounds pretty easy right now. I’ve trained for five rounds since late ‘01 and it just seems that’s what I do anymore. Even though this is a three round fight, I’m training as if it was five. Close to a month out now and I’m heavy, so I’ll start slimming down a little bit. Nate (my webmaster) thought it would be a good idea to talk a little bit about my diet. Of course, I try and eat healthy. A lot of good carbs, protein, good fat and no processed sugar. I do take in some honey, but I count the calories. By good carbs I mean natural foods that aren’t processed. I love sweet potatoes, whole wheat bread, brown rice, oatmeal. Protein’s somewhat easy to find and I try to take my fat in with almonds. I probably eat 6-8 almonds a day (that’s 6-8 individual almonds, not 6-8 bags of almonds). I also eat a lot of fruit. Actually I love fruit and a lot of times fruit can be my dessert. One thing I’ve learned about most of the fruit out there, and a lot of other things, is that it’s catabolic. Catabolic means that it takes more energy to digest than you get out of it. Here are a couple of websites that I have gone to and learned more about these foods: Of course, everybody knows that I love hunting and the gun industry. Got this forward and it made me chuckle. ![]() This week all of my training will be at the HIT Squad, look forward to hitting it hard and start cutting my body up a little bit. I thank everybody for the prayers that they give me, as I’ve received some emails stating so. I’ll talk to you next week. -matt |

first – i never get to say that but i’ve check the site like 10 time today to see what you had to say about chuck. i’m glad he held it together while they interviewed him after the fight because i would’ve lost it with him (i know that’s stupid but whatever). i didn’t care for dana’s prefight words either but he’s the boss i guess. and i like the obama thing. my fav is OBAMA: One Big Ass Mistake America. Hahaha.

Good blog Matt, I like the diet part. It would be cool if you did a diet bit once a month or so, I know a lot of people would be interested in reading it.
April 20th, 2009 at 2:14 pm
Matt,
I’m with you on Chuck, I hate to see him go out this way. Dana in my opinion on the fighters such as yourself, Chuck, Randy, etc. who have made UFC what it is today should get whatever they want period as far as when to retire. It has to embarrass Chuck somewhat to hear Dana say those things to the public, he knows he’s lost most of his latest fights but it should be up to him. We had thunder over Louisville sat. night which is a huge fireworks display getting ready for the Kentucky Derby so I missed the fight and decided not to watch after I seen the post press by the fighters and heard Andersons fight was terrible so I saved my money luckily. I’m not sure if Anderson is being careful so to speak or what, I know he’s tough but leave it in the octagon win or lose.
Keep training your butt off, go out with a new ground and pound attitude and shut Serra up for good!!! God Bless you and your family!
April 20th, 2009 at 2:41 pm
I agree on the diet bit. I would be interested in reading what Matt eats to shed weight for his fights but retain his strength. Standing next to Matt in Orlando, I wouldn’t be surprised if he were about 190 pounds right now.
April 20th, 2009 at 3:08 pm
I wholeheatedly aggree with you about the main event of UFC97. I am also sad about Chuck Liddell, I think he handled Joe Rogan and the post fight interview extremely well. I reckon they will have him back, just probably not near the top of the card. He might have lost, but he went out fighting, and noone can take that away from him.
Glad you had a good time at Europa, and best wishes with your training. I look forward to seeing you smush Matt Serra next month.

the ufc needs a hero. who woulda thought shogun after his ugly win against a 40 some year old who gassed in 2 minutes would beat chuck liddell.. and anderson silva i agree completely that fight was dissapointing, he should’ve ended that fight, and gsp still may be very popular but there’s alot of ppl out there who is not happy with this greasing stuff. the ufc needs matt hughes i guess thats what im trying to say, and im looking forward to this fight in may. get this guy down and do work just like u used to and give ufc fans something to believe in again. love ya or hate ya ufc fans still tune in everytime just to see what matt hughes does, and when u were dominating there wasnt a more popular fighter out there. now some fans have jumped off the bandwagon, but im not one of em, i know u still have a good run left in ya, and do what u can do man.
April 20th, 2009 at 8:45 pm
An unnecessary shot over the hull against Anderson Silva a person who has inarguably displayed the greatest amount of talent and put on the highest quality fights. I respect your opinion but you could just as easily say this of 99% of the fights. Anderson was fighting for the record on Saturday as any of the other fighters out there would have done.
As for the Obama shot, also unnecessary. Embrace the fact that at this moment in time America is suddenly loved and that the person in charge is a moderate. You may not always agree with the guy, you don’t have to, but he is not anti-hunter man, he is anti-urban-gangsta – and you aren’t that!
April 20th, 2009 at 9:40 pm
Truth, this is Matt’s blog and if you don’t like what he posts, don’t read it. America is suddenly “loved” so much that the POTUS is handing us right over to the “man-made disaster” masters and the life we all love will soon be gone. BO is a moderate? Care to back that up with showing facts? I’m sorry but your post just set me off. It’s not a political blog and I don’t blame Nate for deleting this post and yours. I hope he doesn’t because again, if Matt wants to post how it rained purple soda from the sky, he can. This is his blog and he can post what he wants to post.
Matt, sorry to hear you missed Chuck. That was the fight I was most excited about and to see him go out like that was sad. I hope that we’ll see him again, many times, in the cage. I could tell that Chuck was holding back his emotions when he was talking to Joe and my heart was in my throat. I hope Dana was just talking like that to hype up the fight. The UFC wouldn’t be the same without Chuck. The Silva fight was boring city. I don’t like him anyway, but to each his own I guess. Care to comment on a Silva vs. GSP bout?
Keep training hard and take care of Serra once and for all. I’m realy looking forward to your upcoming fight. Take care and thanks for the diet info. Lots of prayers to stay injury-free and that the rest of your training goes well. My family is looking forward to watching you cream Serra next month!
April 20th, 2009 at 10:23 pm
Mr. “Truth,” what news programs have you been watching? America is suddenly loved now? That’s nonsense. Iran and North Korea are more of a threat than ever and we now have President Obama shaking hands with brutal dictator and America-basher Hugo Chavez, while Obama himself drags our country’s name through the mud on the world stage. I guess if you hate America, then you would think that Obama is doing a good job. But for those of us who actually love this country, he’s a left-wing radical who is dismantling EVERYTHING this great nation was founded upon.
Besides, why do we care if some backwater dictatorship, with no concept of freedom or democracy, likes us or not? America is the bastion of liberty and freedom for the entire world, so of course we’re going to be hated by countries who also hate liberty and freedom.

Hey Matt,
Nice to hear your thoughts on Saturday as well as your nutrition tips. I agree with the other posts, it would be great to see a monthly posting about diet/nutrition from you or some of your guys. That PPV saturday was a bust for sure. The fight of the night was a great fight but I cannot see how the judges got Stout winning that one. I was sad to see Chuck lose. I just don’t want to see him destroy his legacy like some other greats that stuck around in action just a bit too long. This PPV left a bad taste because it was not worth the $. If not for a HUGES fight i would be saving my $ in may for other things. WAR HUGHES!
April 21st, 2009 at 7:26 am
NateR, can I just say thanks for the awesome job you do here? I was thinking I’d get up this morning and my comment from last night would be deleted. Thanks for leaving it. Not only did BO shake hands with Chavez, he accepted a “gift” from him in the form of an American-bashing book. I could go on and on but the truth is scary and I don’t want to think of what this nation will be like when his first (and only please God) term is over.
April 21st, 2009 at 7:38 am
HAHA…so true about Gun Salesmen of the Year….not only have prices gone up but people are still buying them like they’re going out of style…and if he has his way they just may.
April 21st, 2009 at 11:40 am
I find it kind of hard to say we are a bastion of liberty and freedom with a straight face when we have used torture on prisoners. That is what is supposed to seperate the “good” guys and the “bad” guys.
Dubya also met with dictators such as Uzbekistan’s President Karimov.

I think the Dana Whites comment may just be a ploy to hype up any future Liddell fights. He puts asses in the seats. Sure he’s lost 4 out of his last 5 and he’s 40 years old but lets not forget the run he had before, that ended not even 2 years ago with the loss to Jackson. Included two stoppages over Couture who is 5 years older and just recently lost the heavyweight title to Lesnar. Liddell is still a top of the food chain 205 pounder that could be right back in the mix for a title shot with a couple good showings. I think he needs to work on using his wrestling and submission skills more often…seems he always wants to stand and trade all the time. Chuck is becoming too predictible. I think if he mixes it up a little more then his strikes in the transition can start knocking people out again. I really don’t see any dominant 205 pounder out there. The top 10 could all be champion at any given time.
April 21st, 2009 at 12:31 pm
Jason, I have a hard time believing that “waterboarding” is really torture. We do it to our own troops as training. It’s no more inhumane than forcing American soldiers to stand in a gas chamber full of tear gas with no masks on (which every soldier has to do as a part of basic training).
Anyways, this discussion doesn’t belong here, this is for comments on Matt’s blog. If you want to talk about these issues further then you are more than welcome to sign up for a forums account and start a thread about it there.
April 21st, 2009 at 4:57 pm
If the discussion doesn’t belong here I don’t see why you think posting that Obama is “dismantling EVERYTHING this great nation was founded upon” belongs here.
Soldiers are subjected to waterboarding to train them to endure the torture technique in the case of being captured by an enemy force. They used the technique during the Spanish Inquisition. John McCain has flat out said it is torture.

dana doesnt want chuck to fight again because he is a very close, personal friend and does not want to see his friend get hurt anymore. he’s been knocked out quite badly 3 times in 5 fights and he’s at the stage in his career where him fighting is no longer necessary. of course he can still fight, but not against top 10 guys and if he can’t fight them, whats the point.
April 21st, 2009 at 5:30 pm
Truth, Jason,
Obama has his website if you want to jump on his bandwagon. The guy that was over 911 where over 3000 people died for no reason was the one getting the water treatment, I don’t feel bad about that at all considering what he did and IT WORKED!! Do you think he deserves to be pampered?? You could have been in the Twin towers. Obama is making friends with the wrong people, you don’t have to admitt it but it’s true. This is Matt Hughes own personal website, he speaks his honest opinions for his fans. I still can’t figure out why anyone who is not his fan gets on this website, probably because the other fighters don’t update their own website often like Matt. And I’ve also learned that no one can speak against Obama without being a racist. This country is going down hill fast, we need to speak up and face it. What idiot president is going to give access to the CIA anyway? Lets shut down the prison camps in Cuba and bring them home or let them go! Those terrorists lost their rights when they killed innocent people!! What Matt Hughes want’s on his website is what belongs here, people that are not fans are who doesn’t belong here. Go fight for the rights of terrorists or Matt Serra! Peace
NateR. you rock. God Bless..
April 22nd, 2009 at 2:51 am
Matt,
I was saddened by Chuck’s loss as well. I think is probably a case of everyone watching him and studying him for so long that they are just waiting for him to drop his hands…
As for Anderson Silva… Silva’s going to fight according to his game plan and no one is going to take him out of it… what Dana and the UFC needs is someone who can beat him at his own game… I’m thinking your good friend Robbie Lawler could be just that guy (or it just could be that I would love to see him back in the UFC instead of on Showtime).
As for our President… all I can say is that I am praying for our nation and for him. I strongly disagree with the direction he is leading us, his policies, and what appears to be a shift towards socialism. And yet I believe in the sovereignty of God and that the good Lord has a plan and purpose. We may not like it, but I trust Him regardless.
I know you’ve heard this a thousand times, but I’m going to say it again… Please kick the crap out of Serra next month, I don’t think I could stand seeing another of my favorite fighters take another loss.
April 22nd, 2009 at 9:43 am
As a canadian I find it kinda funny that when bush was in charge whenever someone questioned his actions, his supporters would state, “he is the president so you have to support him.” Now that Obama is president, bush’s supporters are all questioning his plans. Isn’t he the president so you have to supporthim. And for those out there who say “now that Obama is president our country is going down hill.” I’m sorry to say but your country was doing down while Bush was in the white house.
As for the torture thing. I also find it funny that the ones that say that “waterboarding” isn’t torture. Probably don’t realize that American troops KILLED japanese soldiers for “waterboarding” americans. So tell me where is the difference in the japanese doing to this to americans and americans doing it now. Kinda a double standard don’t you think.
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:07 am
LOL, I think those American troops killed those Japanese soldiers because they were Japanese soldiers. As far as the Japanese torture methods, waterboarding would be considered a joke compared to what they really did to torture our soldiers during WW2.
April 22nd, 2009 at 8:39 pm
I could say an awful lot about some of the comments here but will only say that I’m in Matt’s corner politicaly. Conservative, which is nothing more than God, Country, and Mom’s Apple Pie, and traditional American Values.
Just wanted to let Matt know my wife and I are in his corner and our thoughts and prayers are for his success in kicking Matt Serra’s little butt all over the octagon………I’ve not liked Serra one bit after his comments during the Ultimate Fighter series making fun of Matt’s religious beliefs…………We’ll be watching Matt. Take care and God Bless.

I think most decent people would say we want our president to succeed because our future depends on it regardless of who it is. When Bush was president it was ok for people to down him each day but no one can go against Obama. Each time we try to give opinions it comes out quickly. I’m the type that when I see something that is not good for our country or kids than I speak my mind and Obama is giving a lot of “change” to talk about.
Brad I like your definition, I fit that one as well.
I think terrorists and the Japenese back in the day of ww2 were similiar. THey tried the suprise attack and when the giant awoke they feel like they were treated unfairly. Watch the 911 videos, or pearl harbor videos!! If all we try to do is give them an agressive bath to get them to speak some facts than oh well. We can’t get back the lives they took but if we can save lives because of it than we may have to do it that way. On a normal playing field I wouldn’t want anyone tortured but I think they showed their character with what they did and I’m ashamed when we have people in this country more concerned about them than our own troops and families. Pray for peace and our president to “change” this country for the good of people to be more like Christ and that may mean fighting back to survive. God Bless
April 27th, 2009 at 12:41 am
Thanks Matt for telling it your way. I cant wait for the Serra ass-beating deluxe. We love Matt Hughes 9 time champion.
April 27th, 2009 at 9:19 am
pound serra in the first roud!!!
April 27th, 2009 at 8:13 pm
Matt, Jackie and I are looking forward to your next two fights. You are a hero and we wish for you to go out on top. JESUS, JOHN WAYNE AND MATT HUGHES.
April 28th, 2009 at 1:47 am
Oh hey Matt… I just wanted to say that I just watched Rich Franklin’s film “Cyborg Soldier” it was actualy a decent film, but it made me wonder if Mr. Hughes has ever considered going into acting? I think it would be awsome to see Matt on the big screen :)
April 28th, 2009 at 3:21 am
whatever u do just send matt serra back to lightweight that creep is a pain
April 28th, 2009 at 1:50 pm
Waterboarding is torture?! Ask the citizens of L.A. who were spared another 9/11, as the MSM recently revealed, through the use of intel gained by waterboarding. And BTW, anyone who wants to do any harm to my wife and kids will be extremely lucky if the only consequence he gets is pool water poured up his nose.
We will, however, require someone to waterboard Mr. Serra to wake him up after the fight. Applicants should send resumes to NateR.
April 28th, 2009 at 6:02 pm
I love ya Matt!
April 28th, 2009 at 7:57 pm
Everyone is now a political genius it seems. Support the country, quit hating just to hate. Obama is just over 3 months into his first term, (he has 48 months in case you didnt know).
Get over yourselves, if you know everything, why don’t any of you run for public office?
It seems the internet is full of people who have all the right answers.
Keep training hard Matt
April 29th, 2009 at 10:31 am
fact of the matter is a drastic change in leadership, policies, and views was needed after the last 8 years of republican leadership…
obama took on a country divided, economically in the gutter, with a world opinion that rivals what germany had after ww2… americans should be happy obama is in office.
April 29th, 2009 at 11:39 am
whatever,
I would disagree with that assessment of the last 8 years 100%. Just because you bought into the media’s lies about President Bush doesn’t mean any of it is actually true. The country was only divided by the unjustified hatred of President Bush by the liberals and their media puppets. The economic crisis had been brewing for years. It’s really not the fault of any one President (but I do agree that Bush is partially responsible). And claiming that our status in the world rivaled Germany after WW2 is a complete misrepresentation of historical facts. That’s liberal revisionist-history at it’s finest there, it’s just sad that many people are so ignorant of world history that they actually believe garbage like that.
It’s funny, whenever there’s a Republican in the Oval Office, the liberals are always saying that “Dissent is the highest form of patriotism.” BUT when it’s a Democrat in charge, then all of a sudden anyone who disagree with the liberal agenda is, at best, a divisive sore-loser, at worst, a racist bigot. Can anyone say “double standard”?
April 29th, 2009 at 12:04 pm
i think all politicians are crooked, it’s not a liberal vs conservative thing. both dems and republicans voted for the war in iraq (which is considered a right wing issue) and both dems and repubs voted to give a welfare handout of billions of $’s to banks (”socialism” and handouts being considered a left wing issue).
the cato institute is pretty conservative and they’ve issued a long report asking the us govt to quit handing out money to rich ppl that don’t need it (again BOTH parties took money out of OUR pockets for this): http://www.cato.org/pubs/handbook/hb108/hb108-33.pdf
>>”he’s a left-wing radical who is dismantling EVERYTHING this great nation was founded upon.”
hey if you don’t like the way america is being run you’re more than welcome to leave.
April 29th, 2009 at 12:20 pm
lol, thanks for helping to make my point about the liberal double-standard, r-dawg. :)
April 29th, 2009 at 2:33 pm
Nate, R-dawg, I appreciate you letting the facts be known. It’s amazing how facts are not looked at depending on who you are pulling for. All I can say is there are some very scary things going on right now and everyone needs to pay attention no matter who you are supporting. Scary!! I may decide to run for president if we are still allowed to vote. I’m so ready for Matt to take some frustrations out on the rat Serra!! We need some major ground and pound!! God bless us all and God Bless America!!(I’m preparing for my political future)
April 29th, 2009 at 2:39 pm
How about we state some facts about the country the last 8 years under Bush, rather than just condeming him.. Everyone blames him for the economy but these wheels were set into motion long before he took office. President Bush’s biggest accomplishment was protecting our great nation under future terrorist attacks after 9-11. 9-11 changed everything. Bush didnt ask for 9-11, he HAD TO DEAL WITH IT. This is coming from a reserve soldier that was called back to active duty and did two tours in Iraq and never complained once because it was the right thing to do. Below is from the Wall Street Journal back in 1999. Back in 1999 they KNEW that this financial crisis would happen. Why cant people look themselves in the mirror and take any responsibility for the economy going down the drain. When you make 35K a year and buy a 400K house– guess what- the math doesnt add up. Or all the people that took out all their equity to finance a lifestyle above their means and then their house values drop and their rates go up== it doesnt take a genius to figure out that these things had nothing to do with Bush- but as you can see below are directly linked to the Clinton Administration. I hope Obama does great things, but I personally believe that he is going to wrong way. But then again, we are getting what we voted for- the most socialistic, i mean liberal, senator ever… Hope this article clears up some things to people on why the economy went down the tubes– but I guess its just easier to blame Bush than praise him for keeping us safe. How quickly we forget those innocent people that died on 9-11. As far as torture goes- they CUT OUR HEADS OFF ON THE INTERNET,, holding theirs underwater shouldnt be an issue. Any one of us would do anything to save our families lives, but when it doesnt directly affect you then you are against it. But if holding someones head under water would save you wife and kids you would be the first one in line to play bob the terrorists head underwater… Sorry for the long post…
“In a move that could help increase home ownership rates among minorities and low-income consumers, the Fannie Mae Corporation is easing the credit requirements on loans that it will purchase from banks and other lenders.
Fannie Mae, the nation’s biggest underwriter of home mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among low and moderate income people and felt pressure from stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in profits.
In addition, banks, thrift institutions and mortgage companies have been pressing Fannie Mae to help them make more loans to so-called subprime borrowers. These borrowers whose incomes, credit ratings and savings are not good enough to qualify for conventional loans, can only get loans from finance companies that charge much higher interest rates — anywhere from three to four percentage points higher than conventional loans.
”Fannie Mae has expanded home ownership for millions of families in the 1990’s by reducing down payment requirements,” said Franklin D. Raines, Fannie Mae’s chairman and chief executive officer. ”Yet there remain too many borrowers whose credit is just a notch below what our underwriting has required who have been relegated to paying significantly higher mortgage rates in the so-called subprime market.”
In moving, even tentatively, into this new area of lending, Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980’s.
”From the perspective of many people, including me, this is another thrift industry growing up around us,” said Peter Wallison a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. ”If they fail, the government will have to step up and bail them out the way it stepped up and bailed out the thrift industry.”
April 30th, 2009 at 8:46 am
hi nate, just to clarify i’m not a liberal (and my end response was *sarcasm* but i guess you didn’t pick that up). i already stated both parties are crooked. i think barrack obama is a crook just like g.w. bush is a crook. when presidents die god will punish them for their criminal acts.
also since this is matt hughes’ blog i would like to see more on the diet and training. mac danzig’s diet peaked my interest when i saw him on the ultimate fighter season.
May 1st, 2009 at 9:46 pm
John King – Your comments on Dana White are dead on. I have been saying this even before the Chuck fight but even more now. Chuck is a legend in the sport – It is HIS call as to when he retires. If Dana was adamant that Chuck wouldn’t fight in the UFC again he should handle that behind closed doors and shut his mouth about it in public. The UFC has been a goldmine just waiting to explode for a long time – I’m not even sure how much Dana had to do with the takeoff in popularity. He better thank reality tv and Zuffas money because it was not his business skill that made the UFC takeoff. UFC has peaked with Dana as President – to take it to the next level they need someone running the show behind the scenes with some class. Dana needs to keep his goofy looking bald head and the juvenille remarks that come out of it away from the cameras. His constant rants and f-bombs are getting old fast.
May 1st, 2009 at 10:07 pm
BTW – If Chuck is smart – he won’t even think of retiring. Too much money in the sport now after years of fighting for small bucks. He should leave the UFC and go do two or three fights in another show that could use his name to attract viewers- yes he still has a lot of fans. Maybe another fight with Tito?
May 4th, 2009 at 9:26 pm
I’m with bud street… I’m adding Matt to the heroes list on our website.
I’m a lifetime member of the NRA and the poster is funny only because truth is funnier than fiction. McCain wouldn’t have been much better… but there was hope that Sarah Palin would get to take over.
Palin/Hughes in 2010! Yeah baby I’d vote for that tag team.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:27 pm
Wooops… 2012… I was thinking of Congress… maybe you should run… hint… hint… HINT!

David D. Wayne……you don’t like Obama & McCain would not have been much better…..but you want Palin to get elected in 2012? You can’t be serious? wow…..how is it that Palin who could not even answer simple questions regarding foreign relations in her interviews AFTER she had been prepped on what was coming really better than McCain who has been an amazing senator and has a ton of solid experience. Well the good thing is we won’t have to worry about it….Palin embarassed the party so bad this time around she has zero shot at ever being elected.
