Sorry about the late blog, was busy this weekend traveling down to Arkansas. I had some things to do when I got back and I also had to recoup from the weekend. We had 7 guys represent the gym down at the fights and it’s a lot more stressful being outside the octagon coaching than being inside of it fighting. We ended up having about 14-16 guys down the from the gym, so all in all it was a great experience. The weekend went great, 5 guys won and only two lost. The two that lost were definitely in the fight and could have won easily, but made a few mistakes. A couple of forum friends were there: Dr. Tonya, with her husband, and Boomer and it was good to get a chance to see them again. So, all in all a great weekend. That was a sweet demonstration hopefully i could use that flying arm bar in a fight, although difficult im sure i could hit it.

Matt,
If you try that move and pull if off against Serra you’ll make very highlight reel made until the end of time. Hope all is well with you and your family!

That flying armbar was really neat to see. So far, I haven’t seen anybody do such a move in the fights I’ved watched. I would really love to see you beat Serra by stand up with a knock out (just totally knock him out COLD!), but barring that a flying armbar would be great too.

i think matt would hit his head to hard on the mat trying it on that little hobbit. serra is too short for that. matt will just have to do a falling armbar lol.
