Matt, I love ya baby! Take out Alves the old fashioned way. Show all the haters that you are still in the top tier of the division! We need everyone to forget about the last GSP fights. All the haters think you arent that good anymore because you lossed 2 in a row to GSP, beating Alves won’t take those losses away but it will put you back in the picture whether they hate or not. Looking forward to the fight. Win or lose, you are always my guy and I look forward to you destroying Serra!

I am so excited about the fight!! My boss and I met you in GA at your book signing. We are rooting for you 150% here in Smalltown, NC. We love you and I want you to know I will be praying for you and am so thankful that you are my brother in Christ. You know you are completely in God’s hands, so you cannot lose!

Matt,
I just wanted to tell you that I hope you realize what a true winner you really are. Of course I watched the fight Saturday and the fact that you thanked Jesus before you said anything else shows exactly who you are. There will never be another UFC fighter with more class and will never be another who deserves more respect than Matt Hughes! I will continue to pray for you and your beautiful family and am SO looking forward to the Serra fight!!
