I guess I can officially say, “April Fools!” I also wanted to show you all this. Robbie and I will be in Effingham, IL on May 3rd. There will be a couple of the HIT Squad guys fighting in this event, so I hope to see some of you there. I will be cornering Tommy for his fight tonight, by the way. Some people were asking about that. I hope everyone has a great weekend. -matt |
The part of yesterday’s blog about me moving up to 205 to fight Shogun Rua was just an April Fool’s joke. Sorry to disappoint those of you who might have been looking forward to that.

Are you holding out for the outcome of the St. Pierre/ Serra fight, or do you have any potential opponents in mind? I know you have talked about 185, but other than Silva, Henderson, and Rich Franklin that division is a joke. The welterweight division is so stacked; I would love to see you regain the championship in that division again.

I might have believed it if you hadn’t picked the month Shogun already had to withdraw from a fight with Chuck. LOL! Good one anyways, and pass along my “WAR TOMMY” to Speers! Safe travels!
