First off, congratulations and good luck to Jordan, my brother from another mother (and father), for advancing in the 3-Point Showdown. Chuck has a book out that has made the bestseller list. It’s at its second week at number nine on the New York Times Bestseller List. So congratulations to Chuck on that. I have not have a chance to read it yet, but I do own a copy. So when I do read it, I will report back in. This past weekend was Individual Wrestling State, this year they inducted me into the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Hall of Fame. So I was surprised and honored to have gotten the award. Thanks to all who voted for me. This coming friday night, I will be attending the “GIs vs. Joes” fights at the Family Arena in St. Charles. We’ll have merchandise there as well as One More Round items for sale. Hope to see you there. Finally, I just received my tractor this week, I added a scoop on the front of it so it took a little while to get that in and get it put on. So here’s my prize for TUF 6:

i would also like to add my congrats to you for being inducted into the illinois state wrestling hall of fame. i just finished your book and hope there is a part 2.has your book reached the best seller status yet, if no it very well should.i read jen pulvers book sfter i finished yours another great book. i have just started chucks book an so far so good, again congrats on the HOF.

Hey Matt,
What other farm machinery do you own and use on your farm? Are you all John Deere? Do you fall plow? Would love to hear a little blog of your working farm. Great job on all you do!

I had an idea for your tractor, maybe you should paint it RED. It probably would make about 50 more horse that way. Just kiddin looks pretty cool for being green. I met you at Pujol’s maybe we’ll see ya when you come up north here for your next signing.

Congrats on being inducted into the Hall of Fame!! I am going to get Chuck’s book, but I hope it takes me a little longer to read then yours, your book was so good that I couldn’t put it down. I actually own two of your books cause I pre ordered one on line and I also came to Hillsboro for the signing and had to buy another one to get it signed. It was well worth it though. Your tractor is awesome, I am a small town girl, so I definatly appreciate something that looks like that!!

congrats on being inducted into the hall of fame all us southern illinoisans are very proud of you and your accomplishments and we wish the best for you and your family . and i just wanted to say we need more role models around here to show our kids it doesnt matter if you come from a small town you can be anything you want as long as you work hard at it

Matt, congrats on the hall of fame!! That won’t be the only hall of fame you are inducted to, but no need to rush that one. I’m hoping you are considering your next fight, curious as to what happens in April. That’s a nice tractor, hope to see it some day. God Bless, John

Congrats on hall of fame. I also read your book. It is interesting how our lives twist and turn. You had your ups and downs. It seems you currently have so much going on. If you focus you will succeed. I hope that after all this hype and money made from of TUF, your book and the new training center that you come back strong in the ring.
