SHOT Show, UFC 81 and the H.I.T. Squad Grand Opening

I went to the SHOT Show in Las Vegas Saturday morning, it’s the biggest show the firearm industry has. I took with me two of my best friends, one being my brother and the other being my father-in-law, Jim. We left early Saturday morning and got back Tuesday morning at 1:00 AM. I had a great time. Saturday afternoon, I was in the Knight Rifles booth. I had a great time and signed a lot of autographs. Once again, I’m a firm believer in their products and very happy with the people that I deal with. Saturday night, we all went to the fights. Mark and I thought it was one of the best cards that we’ve been to live. Saw some upsets, my buddy Jeremy got submitted, Tim lost and my friend Brock lost as well. Great card, I just wish my friends could have won. Sunday, we sat at the McMillan booth, they’re a company based out of Phoenix and have a great product. Their gun has the longest confirmed kill at about a mile and a half. Monday, we were with Advanced Armament and once again I always deal with good people and good products. Got to see a bunch of my friends from the industry whether it be Cameron or Dustin or any of my other friends. All in all we had a great time and got to meet some more great people. This Saturday, February 9th, the new gym opens. I know that DPMS is coming down and giving away a gun. I also know that Dollamur Mats is giving away a home mat. There will also be food and other things given away as long as they last. Go to thehitsquad.com for more information on the H.I.T. Squad and driving directions to the gym. And something for the calendar, Feb 16th I’ll be doing a signing at Pujols 5 Grillin Westport Plaza in St. Louis, MO. And February 22nd, there is a fight called “G.I.s versus Joes” located at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO. CLICK HERE for more information. Hope to see you all this Saturday at the gym opening. -Matt |

The biggest disappointment for me was to see big Tim lose. He had that fight locked and then it slipped away. It took me a couple of days before I got over being frustrated for him. Warm regards,

I am planning on coming this weekend. It is going to be almost a 12 hour drive, but it will be worth it.

i don’t disagree with matt very often but i’m glad brock lost, in the wwe they just handed him a world title almost right from the start and now he is having to really compete and not predetermined finishes so he now knows his steroided up body isn’t all it takes to be a winner. that’s all i have to say about that.

Hi Matt! Sorry I missed you at SHOT on Saturday. Was working at a booth … would loved to have met you! Hey, when do you think you’ll make a trip to the Northwest?
Take care and congratuations on the gym opening!
PS. Have to agree with George … am SO GLAD Brock lost on Saturday night. It would be a disgrace to the UFC to bring that hype to such a great sport.

…You didn’t mention your friends from Charter Arms.
I mean, come on, we leave lovely gifts in people’s coat pockets.
OH, and backpacks.
Tell Nathan and Brian that the Walton family says, “Hi!”

Matt-
I am really upset that you are going to be at Pujols 5 on the 16th. I live only like 15 minutes away, but unfortunately you picked the same weekend as MSHSAA state wrestling. BUT I will be at the opening of the gym. You should definitely make more trips to St. Louis area!
