Book Tour Kicks Off in Hillsboro, IL
January 6th, 2008
 On Saturday, January 5th, local Hillsboro, IL book store, Books & Moore, was the first stop on Matt’s tour promoting his new book, Made in America. In addition, the Orpheum Theatre of Hillsboro handed out tickets for a special screening of ‘The Matt Hughes Story’ for everyone who attended the book signing and local sports bar & grille, Bleachers, provided hot chocolate and other refreshments to those standing in line during the brisk January afternoon. Hey Matt,
It was nice coming to see you in Hillsboro, it was well worth the 8 hour drive. It is such a cute town and the people are so nice. I got a pic of you, Audra, and I got a pictue taken with Mark. Thank you so much. Another thing, your Hummer is awesome!!!

I wonder how long Matt stays at these book signings? I guess I better get there super early. I just started the book……I read 2 chapters last night. I love the stories about the mischief Matt and Mark get into as little ones….I was dying laughing!

hey matt was at Barnes and nobles today and hey what do you know I saw your book with the mma books and just grabbed it and didn’t really even care how much it was cuz it looked so awesome. Ive read a little of it and Ive gotta say I really like it and I’m gonna really get a lot out of it! Already got a few friends on the waiting list. Thanks and good luck with the tour!

I apologize if this was already answered somewhere else in the blog, but I wanted to know if you had to buy the book at the store where the signings are taking place. My family and I plan on making a long weekend out of the Atlanta signing. I already have the book and want to make sure before we drive up to Atlanta that I can bring an already purchased book. MATT, IM SORRY BUT I AM IN A HURRY SO EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE IN CAPS, BUT IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY GREAT IF YOU COULD MAKE IT TO DALLAS, TX. OR SOMEWHERE RELATIVELY CLOSE TO DALLAS, YOU DO HAVE A HUGE FAN BASE IN TX, SO THE FANS HERE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU HERE LOCALLY FOR A SIGNING……. P.S. I think the security in Hillsboro was exceptional!!!! Over kill some might say. But what do they know about security! It was a great day. The Fans really made the day!
Take care and get back to Hughsboro….err I mean Hillsboro, safe. By the way, I might need to borrow the new John Deer. I think there is a dirt pile that I might need to move…. Really I would be cool to drive the new Green tractor. I am use to the Red ones…
