Matt, I think it’s great how you support charities. If possible can you post where you will be in the future so we can have a chance to meet you? Thanks

Dale Wells Says:

Matt, you haven’t talked about any training or workouts in a while. Actually, I haven’t really seen any talk about your future fights or any UFC fights in a while. I realize you may not be fighting for another few months but I was wondering how you see your training going and aside from winning, how you see the fight with big mouth Serra going. Also, what are your thoughts on GSP’s next fight and Rich Franklin’s next title match? I know you and Rich are friends so I was wondering if you’re going to help him prepare.

Gotta love Old Settler’s!!

CHRISTINA B Says:

Matt, I just wanted to say how much I really appreciated the episode last night where you handed out the Bibles. It gives me much more respect for you. I thought it was very unfortunate the attitude that came from Serra when he got wind of this. Even if your act only affects one person positively it is well worth it. Keep up the great coaching Matt!!

Chevelle Q. Eldridge Says:

Matt, I was very happy to see you give your team Bibles to read! I love when you always “Thank Your Lord and Personal Savior, right after a win in the UFC.” I really enjoy watching you train, fight and coach. I have so much respect for you. I wish there were more fighters that were down to earth, had your great attitude, and would have strong faith in The Lord as You do! You’re a True Champion! I pray that you beat Matt Serra in December. Take Care and God Bless You and Your Family!

UFC Fan Wisconsin Says:

Matt, On the show last night you made a passing comment that you didn’t have too many more fights left in you. Do you have a definite plan for retirement? With the older ages of Chuck Liddel and Randy Couture, and with your skill and conditioning you seem to have quite a few years left in you.

I would love to see you with the title belt again. Although I like Matt Serra (from last year’s show), his attitude, and foul mouth on the UFC show this year is way over the top. I hope you earn a big win over Serra without the fight going to the judges.

Thanks for your Christian witness. Not only are you in the position of a coach “for such a time as this”, you are in the International UFC spotlight “for such a time as this” (see Esther).

Kent Says:

see how you handled yourself towards Mat Serra remarks made me respect you so much more. It’s a mark of a real man. Also, Mat Serra insults his students in front of other students which shows a lack of maturity and character. You gave out Bibles to your guys and that won many points with me. Before i was rooting on Serra to Win the Finale fight but i’ve now i’m definitely cheering for you instead.

in your corner,

Kent

Q. Rodriguez Says:

May God Bless you and your family. I have a 13 month old little girl and they’re great, a true gift from God. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
